The property at Yelverton had undergone extensive renovations, featuring new porcelain surfaces and landscaping throughout. The main contractor overseeing the project contacted us after reviewing our website and previous installations. Following several meetings to determine the best approach, we were engaged to complete the final phase: a large-scale resin overlay across the property.
The contractor had already laid a permeable concrete base across the site. Our task was to install resin directly over this surface, creating a fully permeable finish that would complement the newly renovated surroundings. The project covered 620 square metres, making it one of the larger residential installations we have undertaken.
In some areas, the concrete base had been laid slightly deeper than standard. To address this, VUBA Mac was installed in these sections before the resin application. This ensured a consistent finish across the entire surface while maintaining the structural integrity of the installation.
The resin was applied across the entire area over five days. The property owner selected a colour that complemented both the existing porcelain and the landscaping. The result was a unified finish that brought the renovation together.
The finished surface is fully permeable, allowing water to drain naturally through both the resin and the underlying concrete. It is also UV protected and anti-slip, with minimal maintenance requirements. For the property owner, the installation provided the final touch needed to complete their renovation, creating a cohesive outdoor space that matched the quality of the interior work.
